The Athens County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Deputy Sheriff. Applications will be accepted until Friday, August 19, 2022. Starting salary: $19.07-$22.47/hour; experience considered, includes full-time benefit package. 

Applicants shall be a United States citizen; possess a valid Ohio State Driver’s License; have a high school diploma or GED, must possess an Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) certification, pass a criminal history, physical agility and medical screening. The Sheriff’s Office reserves the right to change the dates and locations of any portion of the selection process.
